We hire for judgement more than for any particular stack. Tools change; the ability to decide what is worth building does not.

We look for people who care about the person on the other side of the screen, and who treat unglamorous work as part of the craft.

Finishing matters. A feature that is ninety percent done helps no one, and we would rather ship fewer things properly.
