The engineering principles behind everything we ship

We keep teams small enough that everyone can hold the whole system in their head. When that stops being true, we split the system rather than growing the team.

Boring technology is a feature. We spend our novelty budget on the product surface, not on infrastructure that has to run quietly for years.

Short feedback loops matter more than long plans. We would rather ship a narrow slice and learn from it than defend an estimate.
