Research note: reading long documents without losing the thread

Long agreements are rarely read front to back. Meaning is distributed across defined terms, cross references and schedules that sit far apart in the file.

Our early work focuses on preserving those relationships rather than flattening a document into plain text, which is where most context is lost.

We are publishing findings as they stabilise so that teams building in this area can benefit from what did not work as much as what did.
